Cely’s House is pleased to offer both morning and afternoon art camps for Summer Camp 2013
Limited space - Get applications in now !
Mornings - 9:00 a.m - 12:30 p.m.
Afternoons - 1:30 p.m - 5:00 p.m.
Preschool Camps are for ages 3 - 5
We will also offer Lunch Bunch from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at an added cost
Children staying for lunch should bring a bag lunch
The morning session will be for older children ages 8-12
The afternoon session will be for younger and older children ages 6-12
All class sizes limited to 15
Summer Art Experience 2013
Preschool Enrichment and Art Camp
Week 1: June 3 - 7
- A Week at the Beach
- Campers will make a fish trivet, do sand art, print a fish T-shirt, make a treasure chest, sing songs, do shell crafts, enjoy storytelling, and cook a “fishy” treat.
Week 2: June 10 - 14
- A Week in the Woods
- Campers will make nature crafts, a leaf trivet, play outside in Tee-Pees, take a hike, prepare camp foods, enjoy storytelling, sing camp songs and play together outside.
Summer Art Experience Camp
Week 1: June 17 - 21
- Morning - Crazy Chairs & Stools
- LARGE wood, paper, and plaster creatures to sit on, tie-dye T-shirts, and pillows to match
Week 2: June 24 - 28
- Morning - Crazy Chairs & Stools
- LARGE wood, paper, and plaster creatures to sit on, tie-dye T-shirts, and pillows to match
- Afternoon - Jurassic Journey
- Plaster dinosaur and Egg, Prehistoric Collage, Fossil Prints, tie-dye T-shirts and Dino Pillow
Week 3: July 1 - 5
- Morning - Crazy Chairs & Stools
- LARGE wood, paper, and plaster creatures to sit on, tie-dye T-shirts, and pillows to match
- Afternoon - Creating Your Own Country
- Design a map, flag, landscape collage, 3-D globe, tie-dye T-shirt, sparklers on July 4th
Week 4: July 8 - 12
- Morning - Intensive Two Week Pottery
- Pottery Week 1: Throwing on potter's wheel each day and clay hand-building projects
- Afternoon - Monster Madness
- Plaster monsters, nightmare collage, tie-dye T-shirts, monster journal, and Ugly Dolls
Week 5: July 15 - 19
- Morning - Intensive Two Week Pottery
- Pottery Week 2: Glaze Week 1 pottery, make tie-dye T-shirts, plaster sculpture, and pillows
- Afternoon - Birds and Butterflies
- Plaster birds, colorful collage picture, mobile, wearable wings, Sculpy pens, and pillows
